Repaying your loan is as simple as getting your loan.

Because a Payday Advance is a short term loan for a smaller amount compared to other loans, you generally repay the loan over a shorter period.

Most customers repay their loan over 4-8 weeks.

We set things up so you can make repayments in step with your pay cycle.

We’ll match repayments with your capacity to repay.

We’ll send you a repayment reminder before Payday and on the day.

On Payday we’ll set up direct debits to your account.

More about Payday Advances

A Payday Advance is a small loan with repayments in step with your Payday.

Payday Advances are becoming common in New Zealand because they are a simple, fast, online way of getting cash.

Most people who use our Payday Advances are more likely to repay on time if the repayment is in step with their Payday.

This process makes it simpler to remember when a repayment is due.

Our Payday Advances have an establishment fee of $64 and charge 1% interest each day on the balance outstanding. For first time clients there is an additional account set up fee of $24.

We can offer competitive Payday Advances because our process quick and easy and we analyse your bank statement to qualify you.

It starts when you submit your application and ends when your loan is repaid.

Your application can take only minutes and we’ll respond in less than an hour.

Fees

A Payday Advance only has an Establishment fee of $64 and then interest of 1% daily on the outstanding balance. For first time clients there is also an account set up fee of $24.

When deciding on a loan think about the repayments, compare them to your weekly income and decide what you can afford.

Example Payday Advance:

Jane is and existing client of Pretty Penny, is currently working and receives a net income of $400 per week.

An unexpected bill has come up a Jane is short $200 so she applies for a Payday Advance of 4 weekly repayments, with the first payment to be made in 9 days.

Here is a breakdown of Jane’s Payday Advance

Principle (Amount Borrowed): $200

Fees: Establishment Fee $64

Interest: $55.52

Total Owing: $319.52

Repayments: 3 X $80, 1 X $79.52

If you make your repayments on time, you don’t need to pay further fees or charges.

If you do miss a repayment, you can make a direct deposit or set up a new Direct Debit to avoid extra costs.

Other Fees

If you would like a same day deposit there is fee of $12

If you miss a direct debit payment we need to charge you a dishonour fee of $13.

This covers bank fees and a rescheduling cost.

If you then make your payment within 48 hours we waive this fee.

Other companies might charge a daily Arrears dishonour fee, we don’t.

They claim that this gives you the incentive to make payments on time, but these fees can add up quickly and should be avoided.

We collect Payday Advance repayments in equal installments on the day you receive your salary in your account.

Our aim is to keep your repayments at a level you can afford.

Our direct debits attract a small fee of $0.98 per successful transaction and $3.45 per dishonour. This fee is charged by Integrapay our third party provider and IS NOT included in your loan repayments or interest.

Other companies might collect larger early payments and then extend the loan over a longer term.

The later payments may be smaller but the process can result in a higher costs and should be avoided.

Credit History

We work with all types of customers, working or on WINZ benefit, who have a steady income, and can afford their repayments. We generally do not perform a credit check

We qualify our clients based on an assessment of their bank statement.

We offer Payday Advance loans up to $500 and our average loan is between 4 and 8 weeks

Most of our loans are for approximately 30 days.

Sometimes we require more information but not always.

Mostly for first time borrowers, but if we know you we normally don’t find it necessary and the process gets quicker.

Most of the time all we need is your bank statement.

This shows us your income and whether you can afford your repayments. Also, we use your bank statement to ensure we have the correct details to deposit the funds into your account.

Knowing this helps us to help you avoid late payment fees.
